Bowen Turns One!

Bowen turned one year old! AH! Where did the last year go? It has been mind boggling how fast it has gone. Seems like it went even faster than Cole Man's first year... We celebrated at Grandma Dars with family and some friends. We love you Bowen Troy Maxson! Happy birthday!





Oh sweet Bowen. Mommy and Daddy love you so much. I was so glad that your delivery went so well so that I could just love on you the whole time in the hospital. We bonded immediately didn't we! You have a special name, being named after your Papa Troy. It is sad that he doesn't get to be your Papa here on this earth, but we know he sent you to us. He even taught you the "Papa Troy scowl"! You have had the sweetest disposition from the start. We can't wait to watch you learn and grow and we feel so blessed to be your mommy and daddy!

A while ago, we were all at my moms. Our neice Navi insisted on her dad, Travis, holding all of these stuffed animals. It was hilarious!



And then she wanted him to jump on the trampoline with them all!

Grandma Loves Cole

Grandma Dar paid us a visit a few weeks ago. She was lovin' on Cole, and said her usual, "Grandma loves you!", and Cole quickly dissapeared. He came back with this decoration that sits in his room that says, "Grandma loves me!" What a smart guy!

Easter Stuff

The Clifford's (Ty's side of the family) have a big Easter Egg Hunt/Party each year. Cole had a blast hunting for eggs and playing with cousins.


His favorite part was playing basketball with Auntie Ashley and other cousins.

Fathers and Sons Outing

This picture is Ty and Cole in Grandma Dar's van getting ready to drive to Fathers and Sons outing.

When Ty and Cole got to the campsite, the ward was starting their testimony meeting. Afterwards Cole went up to Bishop Brown and just kinda jabbered, couldn't understand what he was saying, but Ty did hear him close as if he was bearing his testimony...

They did it! They did "Fathers and Sons". They slept in the van that night, and Cole woke up in the middle of the night and said, "Dad, lets drive, go home". Ty said to him, "Cole, we ARE going to do this." The next morning, Cole woke up bright and early and said, "We did it Dad!" He hasn't stopped talking about it since!
