Halloween 2009

So if you keep up on our blog, you'll know that Cole is totally into Star Wars. How, we don't know. I have never even seen the movies. Nope, none of them. Someone said that it is in his blood to get into Star Wars simply because he's a boy. Sure, that sounds about right. So of course for Halloween Cole wanted to be a "Star Wars Guy". So of course he wanted Bo to be a Star Wars Guy with him. So here are some fun pictures from our fun Halloween.

Crazy Cousin Cookie Craft Night!!!

Calling all DeWitt Cousins! Here is our little craft for this years Crazy Cousin Cookie Craft Night... It's simple and inexpensive. I bought these three plates at the dollar store the other night, had some left over vinyl that I stuck on here, and used an easel that I already had. ( I had the black and gold easel already, but did buy that silvery one at the dollar store too just fyi.) Cute huh! So bring your favorite plate to display, think of a cute saying you want to go on it! The vinyl and cutting machine will be provided. ( We should have red, green, white and black vinyl.) Don't forget to bring a treat to share, and you'll get to go home with a cute decorated plate full of yummy treats! Love you all! See you soon! (Tammi will be sending you the evite with all the details... )

FIGHTING BATTLE DROIDS...

We have no idea how in the heck Cole's latest obsession is Star Wars. I have never seen the movie, yes its true, never seen it. But each day for about a week now, Cole and I go in to the back yard and fight the battle droids. Are battle droids even in the movie? No idea. But we have this star wars-ish book that has battle droids in it, so thats my reference. Grandma Dar got Cole this helmet, that is actually a little too heavy for his head, so I get to wear it too... I have to say, I am loving this. And here's why. Since Cole Man was born, he's TOTALLY been a daddys boy. Of course loves his mommy, but he's a daddys boy through and through. Now, with Ty gone to school and gone doing therepy a little more, Cole and I have gotten a lot closer. Not that he and Ty aren't still total buds, or that I think its a competition between us, but its been wonderful. When you ask him who he wants to fight battle droids with, HE. PICKS. ME. Love it.
